Is your Springfield self-storage location staffed?
Yes, we have an onsite manager six days a week! The onsite manager is available from 9AM to 6PM Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. On Tuesday, the on-site manager is available from 1PM to 6PM. On Saturday, the on-site manager is available from 9AM to 1PM.

Do any of your storage units have electricity?
No, these are non-climate-controlled units, but electrical outlets are available outside of the units for you to use while on site.

How secure is your self-storage facility?
We have 23 security cameras on site, and it is a gated storage facility.

What items cannot be stored in your self-storage units?
Tenant agrees not to store flammables, stolen property, perishables, guns, ammunition, or anything alive or dead. In addition, tenant is strictly prohibited from storing or using on the premises materials classified as hazardous or toxic under any local, state, or federal law or regulation, and from engaging in any activity which produces such materials.

Can I pay my monthly self-storage bill online?
Yes, we go through a site called Rent Café for online payments!

What happens if I miss a payment on my self-storage unit?
After the 5th day of the month a late fee of $15 will be added to your account, and your gate access will be revoked. If there is no payment after 45 days, the auction process will begin. We do offer automatic payments to help avoid any payment issues.

Do you offer insurance on stored belongings?
No, we do not offer insurance at this time.

Do you have self-storage auctions at your location?
Any auctions we have are held through an online auction site. Visit storageauctions.com to view current self-storage auctions.

Do you offer vehicle or boat storage?
No, we do not offer vehicle or boat storage at this time.

Do you have climate-controlled self-storage units?
No, our storage units are not climate-controlled.

Does your self-storage office accept deliveries of parcels or packages?
No, we do not accept package or mail deliveries for tenants.

How do I estimate the amount of space I need?

Can I use your storage units for my business or hobby?
Yes, you can use your unit for storage purposes so long as your business or hobby will not damage any property in or around the unit.

How do I make my storage unit available to more than one person?
Any additional tenants will need to be on the lease.

How do I rent a storage unit in Springfield?
You can call, text, or email us, and the management will make sure all the necessary documents are sent to you electronically or made available to you in person within the office. If you are not in Springfield, we will work with you electronically!

Do you offer any discounts?
Yes! If you a current or former U.S. military service member, you'll receive 10% off self-storage from Keystone. It's our way of saying thanks! You must show a military ID or a copy of your DD214 to receive the discount.

When can I start storing my items?
If there is a storage space available that meets your specific storage needs, you can store your items after your account has been created and anytime during normal access hours.

How much notice needs to be given before I remove my items for good?
All contracts are month-to-month. However, we do require 30 days notice before you move out.

Do you sell boxes and storage supplies?
No, we do not sell any moving supplies at this time.
